Prayer for Protection

The light of God surrounds me;
The love of God enfolds me;
The power of God protects me;
The presence of God watches over me.
Wherever I am, God is!

Lord teach me all that I should know;
In grace and wisdom I may grow;
The more I learn to do Thy will;
The better may I love Thee still.
Amen

Guardian Angel

Angel of God, my guardian dear,
Whom God has sent to protect us here.
Ever this day be at my side,
To light and love, to rule and guide.
The Spirit of Guidance always shines in our hearts.
Amen

Prayer of Thanks

Father, we thank Thee for the night,
And for the pleasant morning light,
For rest and food and loving care,
And all that makes the world so fair.
